DenzFlex® Series

Ferric oxide is a high purity hematite-based product that is utilized to increase density while imparting sound and vibration damping (ex. automotive applications).

DenzFlex® can provide both x-ray and radar blocking and has high hardness for scratch resistance. Additional benefits include microwave heat ability, slight electrical conductivity, magnetic attraction and high thermal conductivity which can provide reduced cycle time in plastic molding.

DenzFlex® applications include:

  • Plastics – Utilized to increase density while imparting sound / vibration damping. DenzFlex® can provide both x-ray and radar blocking. Additional benefits include microwave heat ability and high thermal conductivity which can provide reduced cycle time in plastic molding.

  • Concrete – When used in concrete, DenzFlex® high specific gravity enables the formulator an outstanding increase in density for building foundations and undersea pipes as well as x-ray shielding for use in hospital radiology units.
